Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that he is not opposed to meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky. However, he emphasized that certain conditions must be created for such talks to take place.

Axar.az informs, citing TASS, Putin made the remarks during a conversation with journalists following his meeting at the Kremlin with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

“I have said many times that I have nothing against it in general — it’s possible,” Putin noted. “But certain conditions must be created for that. Unfortunately, we are still far from creating such conditions.”

He also said that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is one of the suitable places to hold a meeting with United States President Donald Trump.
