Israel will not annex Gaza and plans to hand over control of the territory to a transitional governing body.

Axar.az reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated this in an interview with CNN-News18.

He said the main goal is the complete destruction of Hamas and the unconditional release of the remaining hostages.
