Italy’s chargé d'affaires in Russia, Giovanni Scopa, has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

It was stated that the diplomat was summoned in connection with the anti-Russian campaign being conducted in the Italian media.

The diplomat was informed that such actions would further strain relations with Russia.
