US detains up to 450 ‘unlawful aliens’ at Hyundai Motors

Up to 450 “unlawful aliens” at a Hyundai Motor production facility in Georgia have been detained in a major raid by US law enforcement and immigration authorities.

Axar.az informs, citing Reuters, this was reported by the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) on Friday.

Earlier, news reports said South Korean nationals at the facility, a joint venture production site of battery maker LG Energy Solution and Hyundai Motor, had been detained by US immigration authorities in a raid.

The Atlanta office of the US Justice Department agency ATF reported the raid in a post on X.
