A memorandum of understanding on strategic civil nuclear cooperation has been signed between the United States and Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayrakdar.

We have launched a new process that will further deepen the partnership between Turkiye and the United States in the field of nuclear energy. After the meeting held with the participation of the leaders and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, we signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic civil nuclear cooperation. I hope that the work to be done within the framework of this agreement will benefit both countries," the minister said.
