Azerbaijan and Bahrain have abolished visa requirements for diplomatic passport holders.

It was noted that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani within the framework of the high-level week of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

The ministers discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

At the same time, the ministers also exchanged views on regional and international issues between Azerbaijan and Bahrain.

The ministers signed the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain on Mutual Visa Exemption for Persons Holding Diplomatic Passports".
