Gyumri-Moscow flight makes emergency landing in Makhachkala

A passenger plane operating a flight from Gyumri to Moscow issued an emergency signal during its journey and later landed in Makhachkala.

Axar.az reports, citing Flightradar, that the Boeing aircraft took off from Gyumri at 11:24 a.m. Moscow time.

According to reports, the aircraft declared an emergency about an hour after entering airspace over Dagestan and descended to an altitude of around 3,000 meters.

Russian media later reported that the plane safely landed at Makhachkala Airport.
