Kremlin says talks with US will continue as long as necessary

Russian representatives are ready to meet with their US counterparts as many times as necessary to achieve a peaceful resolution in Ukraine, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov emphasized.

Axar.az informs, citing TASS, he was asked about this in the context of yesterday’s visit by US President’s special envoy Stephen Witkoff — his sixth trip so far. Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Witkoff in the Kremlin to discuss the situation in Ukraine.

“We are ready to meet as many times as needed to reach a peaceful settlement,” Peskov said when asked how the Kremlin views the current dynamics and how many more such meetings might be required to move closer to a peace agreement.
