Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, with the help of European allies, has prepared a response to US President Donald Trump's peace plan.

“Zelensky is using a 'yes, but' strategy, which is based on agreeing to US proposals, but with certain conditions. For example, Zelensky has said that he is ready to hold elections, but this will require a ceasefire. He also recognizes the possibility of limiting the number of Ukrainian Armed Forces, but not below the current level.

This approach has allowed Zelensky to support Trump's peace concept without damaging his political authority within Ukraine,” the report said.
