Ukraine seeks peace, ready for constructive talks

Ukraine needs peace on decent terms, and Kyiv is ready to work as constructively as possible.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on his Telegram channel.

“Since yesterday, all our services have been working to restore electricity, heat, and water supply to the regions after Russia's strikes on the energy sector. The situation is still difficult - hundreds of thousands of families in Mykolaiv, Odessa, Kherson, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Sumy, and Dnipro regions were left without electricity. There are casualties.

Russia is prolonging the war and wants to inflict as much damage as possible on our people. In total, this week, the Russians have launched more than 1,500 strike drones, about 900 guided aerial bombs, and 46 missiles of various types into Ukraine. In just one week.

These days will be full of diplomacy. This must give results. I count on the support of our partners. I thank everyone who helped,” Zelensky noted.
