Erdogan, Lebanese President discuss bilateral relations

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with his Lebanese counterpart Joseph Aoun.

Axar.az reports that the Turkish Presidential Administration shared information on its X page.

During the conversation, bilateral relations and regional issues were discussed.

Erdogan said that Turkiye always defends the stability and sovereignty of Lebanon. He noted that Turkiye is always ready to participate in international mechanisms that support Lebanon's security.

The Turkish leader stressed that his country will continue its support for the major change in Syria to contribute to the stability of the region.
