Gas supplies from Iran to Iraq suspended

The transportation of natural gas from Iran to Iraq has been completely stopped.

Axar.az reports that this is stated in the information of the Iraqi Ministry of Energy.

It was stated that the reason for the suspension of supplies was the emergency situation at Iranian facilities, and Tehran officially informed Baghdad about this.

The ministry added that Iraq has started using local alternative fuels in connection with this situation.
