US-Iran talks proceed despite drone incident

The talks between the US and Iran, which will take place this week, are still in force despite the incident related to the downed drone.

Axar.az reports that White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said this in an interview with Fox News.

"Special Representative Steve Witkoff is preparing to hold talks with the Iranians this week. At this time, the meeting remains as planned," Leavitt said.

It should be noted that the US President's Special Representative, Steve Witkoff, and the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, will meet in Istanbul on February 6.
