Why Israel hit a girls’ school, killing 160 students - Map

Repоrts that a girls’ school in Iran was hit in recent strikes have triggered intense debate.

Axar.az informs the United States and Israel have described their operations as “precision strikes,” raising questions about how a school was hit, leaving more than 160 children dead.

The school’s location has drawn particular attention. The college is situated in the Shajareh-ye Tayyebeh area of Minab district, in a zone known as “Sayyidul Shuhada,” where IRGC bases, sports facilities and educational institutions are located. Maps appear to show the school adjacent to an IRGC military headquarters. According to reports, the college is regarded as an elite institution attended by children of IRGC officers.

Some analysts suggest the proximity to military facilities may have made the site vulnerable.
