Over 87% support new constitution in Kazakhstan

In Kazakhstan, more than 87% of voters supported the adoption of the new Constitution.

Axar.az informs that this was stated by Nurlan Abdirov, chairman of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan.

“The number of citizens who voted on the issue put to the referendum was 7,954,667, or 87.15%”, - Abdirov said.

He added that a total of 9,127,192 people participated in the voting, both inside Kazakhstan and abroad.
