Chelsea Football Club has been fined £10.75 million and handed a suspended transfer ban after breaching Premier League rules.
Axar.az reports, citing Independent, the sanctions include an immediate nine-month ban on academy transfers, while a one-year first-team transfer ban has been suspended for two years.
The penalties stem from historical regulatory issues during the Roman Abramovich era, covering incomplete financial reporting, third-party investment, and youth development matters.
Chelsea voluntarily self-reported potential rule breaches in 2022 and fully cooperated with the Premier League’s investigation.
The club expressed satisfaction with the settlement, which resolves the outstanding historical issues.
