Japanese ambassador summoned to Russian Foreign Ministry

The Japanese ambassador has been summoned to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, this was announced by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a briefing held today.

She stated that a protest was lodged with Japanese Ambassador Akira Muto in connection with reports about the establishment of joint drone production facilities in Ukraine involving Japan.

It should be noted that Japan’s drone manufacturer Terra Drone Corporation has signed a cooperation agreement with Ukraine’s unmanned aerial vehicle producer Amazing Drones.

Official Moscow has stated that any joint drone production plant established in Ukraine with Japan would be considered a legitimate target for the Russian army.
