Iran delegation arrives in Islamabad for U.S. talks

An Iranian delegation, led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has traveled to Islamabad, Pakistan for talks with the United States.

Axar.az reports, citing Fars News, Ghalibaf is accompanied by Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian, and Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati.

The U.S. side will be represented in the talks by Vice President J. D. Vance, Special Representative of President Donald Trump Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner.

“The talks will begin if the opposing side accepts Iran’s preliminary conditions,” the report said.
