US plans naval blockade of Iran

US President Donald Trump said the U.S. Navy is preparing to impose a blockade of ships entering or leaving the Strait of Hormuz at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (18:00 Baku time).

Axar.az reports that speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland while returning from Florida, Donald Trump was asked how long he would be willing to wait for Iran to commit to a possible second round of talks.

"Oh, I don't know," he said. "I don't care if they come back or not. If they don't come back, I'm fine."

It should be noted that earlier, United States Central Command (CENTCOM) had announced that it would begin the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz on April 13.
