Next round of Iran-US talks may take place in Geneva

The United States and Iran are weighing new in-person negotiations aimed at reaching a deal to end their six-week conflict before the current ceasefire expires next week.

Axar.az informs, citing Associated Press, the three sources said discussions are still ongoing regarding a new round of talks. However, a diplomat from one of the mediating countries went further, claiming that Tehran and Washington have already agreed to resume negotiations.

According to the sources, Islamabad, Pakistan, is once again being considered as a possible host city, while Geneva is also under discussion. Although no final decision has been made on the venue or timing, the talks could take place as early as Thursday.
