Netanyahu shocked by Trump ceasefire post on Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his advisers were reportedly shocked by U.S. President Donald Trump’s post, which appeared to contradict the ceasefire agreement text between Israel and Lebanon published by the U.S. State Department.

Axar.az informs, citing Axios, that Netanyahu was personally stunned and alarmed, as the post implied that Israel was being ordered in a way it would have no choice but to obey—something described as unprecedented in previous U.S. administrations.

According to reports, Israel has asked the White House to clarify President Trump’s statement about a “prohibition” on bombing Lebanon.
