Louisiana mass shooting leaves eight children dead

Eight children were killed and two others wounded in a mass shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana, early Sunday, police said.

Axar.az reports, citing CBS, authorities said the incident involved multiple homes and was domestic in nature, with the suspected shooter also killed by police following a chase.

Police said victims ranged in age from 1 to around 14, and noted that at least some were believed to be related to the suspect.

Officials described the incident as a major tragedy, with multiple agencies investigating and the White House monitoring the situation.
