Armenia considers alternatives for railway construction

Armenia continues talks with Russian partners on building a railway to the border with Turkey but is also considering alternative options if no agreement is reached, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said.

Axar.az informs that he noted that the missing section of the railway, which has left the Gyumri–Kars line non-operational, needs to be completed.

According to him, Yerevan is currently in talks with the Russian side and, if joint implementation does not work out, Armenia will find another solution, stressing that the issue must be resolved.
