Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Ukraine urgently needs continued military support from the United States.

Axar.az reports that in a post on his Telegram channel, Zelensky said Kyiv is in ongoing discussions with all partners regarding air defense.

"We are discussing this with all our partners. Unfortunately, there has been no progress for a long time with the United States on expanding the production of missile defense systems," he said

Zelensky added that the PURL program is functioning and expressed gratitude for it.

"The PURL program is working, and we are grateful for it. Europe is providing us with financial support. However, he emphasized that leadership from the United States remains critically important," he noted.
