Trump warns Iran over assassination threat

U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that the United States is prepared to launch a devastating military response if Iran carries out or attempts an assassination against him.

Axar.az reports that in a post on his Truth Social account, Trump claimed that 1,000 missiles are "locked and loaded" and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, if the Iranian government acts on what he described as repeated threats to assassinate the sitting U.S. president.

"1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands of more to immediately follow, should the Iranian Government act on its threat, pronounced in many corners of the Globe, to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, ME!" he said.

Trump added that orders have already been issued and that the U.S. military is prepared to "completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran" for a period of one year, subject to extension, if such an attack were to occur.

It should be noted that on July 8, Donald Trump also claimed that Iran posed a threat to his life through a possible assassination attempt.
