Russian forces attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles overnight on August 20, killing at least 12 people and injuring at least 32 others.
Axar.az informs, citing local media, that Ukrainian capital Mayor Vitali Klitschko made the announcement.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported strikes on an industrial site in the Sviatoshynskyi district, where fires broke out at three warehouses.
In the Solomianskyi district, the upper floors of a high-rise residential building were destroyed and a fire broke out. Windows were also shattered in other residential buildings and a medical facility, while cars, garages and a shop caught fire.
In the Darnytskyi district, a non-residential facility was hit, with warehouse buildings and cars catching fire.
