A car exploded this morning in the Balashikha district of Moscow.
Axar.az reports according to Russian Telegram channels, an explosive device with a yield equivalent to 300–400 grams of TNT, which had been planted under the driver's seat, was detonated.
Russian military bloggers claim that a 62-year-old lieutenant general was killed in the explosion. His identity has not been disclosed.

The person killed in an explosion has been identified as Major General Damir Davydov, head of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defence.
According to Russian media, Davydov lived in Balashikha, and the BMW X3 that exploded was registered to him.
