Iran strikes US targets in Middle East

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said its Aerospace Force launched missile strikes against four key targets at the U.S. military's Al-Azraq Air Base and command-and-control center in Jordan.

Axar.az reports according to Mehr News Agency, the IRGC said in a statement that its forces used long-range solid-fuel missiles to target and destroy four important sites, including shelters housing F-35 fighter jets and facilities at the command-and-control center.

According to the statement, the missile attack was part of a continued retaliatory operation.

“Our forces are ready to deliver a crushing and decisive response to any renewed aggression by the enemy, and responsibility for the consequences of any future attack rests with the United States,” the statement said.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also targeted the U.S. Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain and the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait early Wednesday morning.
