Ushakov: Russia rules out front-line freeze in Ukraine

Russia is not considering the option of freezing the conflict in Ukraine along the current front line.

Axar.az reports, citing Izvestia, that this was announced on August 18 by Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov in an interview with the Vesti news agency.

"You know our position [on the conflict], it rules this out," he said.

This is how Ushakov answered the question about the proposal of the countries to freeze the conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine only along the line of military contact.
