A plane carrying Brazilian forro singer Rey Vaqueiro, 26, crashed in Parelhas, Brazil, early Sunday.

Axar.az reports, citing local media, that the aircraft overran the runway while landing, went down a slope and caught fire. All eight people on board — the singer, five companions and two crew members — survived. The pilots managed to evacuate the passengers before the fire spread.

All of them were treated at a hospital in Parelhas. According to firefighters, they suffered only minor scrapes and bruises and are in good condition. Vaqueiro, known for his song “Body Splash,” was traveling to perform concerts in the area.
