Jordan church attack death toll rises to eight

The death toll from an attack on a church in Jordan's southern Karak governorate has risen to eight after one of the wounded victims died in hospital.

Axar.az reports, citing Qatar News Agency, that the sources said the victim was one of two people who had sustained critical injuries. Both underwent major surgery and remained on ventilators under close medical observation before one died of his injuries.

It should be noted that special services have not yet managed to detain members of the terrorist group behind the attack on the church. The search for the perpetrators is ongoing.
