Saudi-led coalition strikes Houthi command centre in Taiz

Saudi Arabia-led coalition forces have carried out airstrikes on the Sofitel Hotel east of Taiz, which the Houthis used as a command and control centre.

Axar.az reports, citing foreign media, that the information was shared by Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Staff Colonel Majed Abdullah Al-Nuzaili.

He said the Houthis had used the hotel to organise attacks against civilians, adding that tanks and artillery units were also deployed on the hotel grounds. The airstrikes disabled the command and control centre and destroyed two Houthi tanks.
