Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Russian President Vladimir Putin are set to hold talks in Moscow next week, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced on Friday.

Axar.az reports that Araghchi said in an Instagram post that the upcoming meeting would build on discussions held during Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s visit to Tehran earlier this week.

“Next week, these discussions and consultations will continue in Moscow with the participation of the presidents of both countries,” he said.

It should be noted that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had earlier said that Moscow was expecting Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to visit.
