The reason of the arrest of the Peoples Democratic Party (HDP), Deputy Chairman Aysel Tugluk in Turkey was announced.

Axar.az reports that, a court in southeastern Diyarbakir province sent a senior official of the opposition Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) to jail pending trial on terrorism-related charges on Wednesday evening, according to a judicial source.

Tugluk was among five detainees charged with "being a member of an armed terrorist group" and "managing an armed terrorist group", the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media, said.

Lady politician, was arrested two days ago in Ankara.
