NATO’s Agile Spirit 2017 drills end in Georgia

Agile Spirit 2017 multinational drills, involving more than 1,500 soldiers from seven countries, ended today.

Axar.az reports that the final ceremony started by a minute silence to the Georgian soldiers died on duty and the victims of September 11 terrorist attack in the US.

Georgian defence and state officials, as well as foreign representations attended the closing ceremony, where soldiers conducted sample training.

An exhibition of military techniques also took place.

Azerbaijani servicemen also joined the exercises. Moreover, servicemen from Georgia, the US, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine were involved in the drills.
