Turkey and Russia are likely to sign a deal to sell Su-35 fighters in the near future.

Axar.az informs this was reported by the "New Akit" citing an unnamed Turkish official.

“The relations are quite developed. The agreement does not seem far away, ”the source said.

Although the Turkish official did not rule out the latest figures in the deliberation process, he said Turkey currently intends to purchase 48 Su-35 aircraft. Another Turkish official, speaking to the publication, said Russia would offer Ankara a reasonable price for the Su-35.

Turkey's Daily Sabah also wrote a few days ago that Ankara and Moscow could sign an agreement to supply 36 Su-35 fighters.
