The "Wave-2024" joint tactical exercise, held in the territorial waters of the Caspian Sea, with the involvement of the personnel and equipment of the Navy and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, was successfully completed.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

It was noted that in order to eliminate the accident that happened on the conventional platform in the sea, the ships left the deployment point, the helicopter, ship and cutters were agreed on the task at the joint command post, and the tasks of providing the necessary assistance to the accident area were performed.

Also, localization of the fire, search and rescue operations and diving inspection in the underwater part of the platform, organization of emergency duty, as well as other activities were carried out.

"In the joint tactical training, the HDQ and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ship and its personnel performed the assigned tasks with high professionalism," - it was emphasized in the information.
