PACE summer session to be held in Strasbourg

The summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will take place in Strasbourg on June 20-24, 2016, said a message posted on the PACE website June 8.

According to the message, topics for debate include the functioning of democratic institutions in Turkey, refugees at risk in Greece, transparency and openness in European institutions and other issues.

Addresses by Estonian Prime Minister Taavi Röivas and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras are among the highlights of the PACE summer session in Strasbourg on June 20-24, 2016, the message said.
