The Russian Embassy in Ankara has sent a note to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding Turkish Airlines' frequent refusal to transport Russian citizens to Latin American countries via Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova.

"The issue was raised before Turkiye, including at the meeting of the Russia-Turkiye tourism safety and rights protection sub-group held on April 19. "Turkiye is carefully examining the note sent by the Russian Embassy to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," he said.
