We are deeply concerned about Iran's start of uranium metal production.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Foreign Ministries of France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

"Iran's uranium metal production has no civil reliability. This could potentially cause serious military problems. Under the nuclear deal, Iran has pledged not to produce metallic uranium and not to investigate the issue for 15 years. We call on the Tehran leadership to fulfil its obligations under the nuclear deal," the statement said.

It should be noted that Iran's Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Vienna Kazim Garib Abadi stressed that natural uranium will be used in the first stage for the production of metallic uranium.
