US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland met with faction leaders in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that during the meeting, former President Petro Poroshenko asked him about the prospects of NATO membership. In response, Nuland urged him not to dwell on the issue too much, but to work on reforms instead:

"Ukraine will not give anything to the 'board' (NATO membership is meant - ed.)."

Blinken, in turn, stressed the importance of fighting corruption in Ukraine.
