Authorities in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province have banned women from visiting medical facilities in several areas of the province without a male escort.
Axar.az reports that Afghan media reported on this.
The corresponding decision came into force in nine districts of Nangarhar. The imams of the mosques have also accepted the document and they will disseminate the information to the residents.
Earlier, on November 10, the Taliban government banned women from entering public parks in the Afghan capital.
