The results of the earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmarash last year on February 6 deeply saddened the people of Azerbaijan as well as the people of Turkiye. Based on the immediate reaction of President Ilham Aliyev, it was decided to build an Azerbaijani neighborhood in Kahramanmarash.

Axar.az reports that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Turkiye, said this in an interview with journalists on May 7.

He said that according to the instructions of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, I came to Kahramanmarash today to get acquainted with the progress of the work. Things are going normally, according to the schedule.

The prime minister was also interested in the construction of the Heydar Aliyev School with 20 classrooms and 300 students in the Azerbaijan quarter.

It was noted that the school in Kahramanmarash will be named after our Great Leader Heydar Aliyev on the Azerbaijan stage.

The construction of both the Azerbaijani neighborhood and the school named after our Great Leader Heydar Aliyev should and is being carried out with the highest quality.

Ali Asadov also talked with the builders. The Prime Minister was informed that among them there are people who lost their loved ones and whose houses were destroyed as a result of the catastrophe of the century.
