A draft law prohibiting Iranian women from leaving the country without the supervisor's permission has been approved.
Axar.az reports that this was reported by Kazim Dilkhosh, the spokesman of the Parliament's Justice Commission.
"The Judicial Commission of the Islamic Council has decided that under normal conditions women leave the country with the permission of the supervisor, and in special cases with a court decision," said Dilkhosh.
It should be noted that previously only married women needed their husband's permission to leave the country, now the right to travel for half of the country's population will be restricted, and girls over 18 years old, as well as divorced women, will be able to leave the country only with the permission of their "guardian".
