Ukraine is actively preparing for a future counterattack, stockpiling ammunition and at the same time striking Russian military facilities in the rear.

Axar.az reports that unnamed officials of Western countries told CNN about this.

"Some of these deep strikes against the Russians (positions in southern Ukraine) are in preparation for any future attack. We have consistently seen that the Ukrainians are very adept at hitting specific Russian targets with these precision HIMARS systems," the officials noted.
