Armenia can buy air defence systems from France.

Axar.az reports that Armen Khachatryan, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security of the Armenian Parliament, spoke about this.

He noted that if an agreement is reached as a result of the negotiations, Armenia will pay for the equipment:

"One of the weakest aspects of Armenia is air defence. We need a new quality."

It should be noted that French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, who is on a visit to Armenia, said that her country is ready to provide military equipment to Yerevan.
