Armenia's budget increased by 0.5 trillion

According to the 2024 state budget draft, the Armenian government has planned expenditures for 3.1 trillion drams, which is 0.5 trillion drams more than in 2023.

Axar.az reports that the Armenian press published information about this.

"However, the budget deficit is 341.1 billion drams, an increase of 52.2 billion drams compared to 2023. "To cover the deficit, the executive power intends to attract more financial resources from foreign sources in 2024," the information says.

It is noted that in both 2023 and 2024, the government expects to achieve 7% economic growth. The inflation target for 2 years remains unchanged – 4+/- 1.5%.

Thus, the expenses of the Armenian budget for 2024 will be 3.108 trillion drams (7.75 billion dollars) (2.653 trillion - 6.63 billion dollars in 2023), the income will be 2.767 trillion drams (6.9 billion dollars) (2.364 trillion in 2023 - 5.9 billion dollars), the deficit was calculated as 341.1 billion (853.3 million dollars) drams (288.9 billion - 723.2 million dollars in 2023).
