The new prime minister of Pakistan has been announced

Pakistan Muslim League Chairman Shahbaz Sharif has been elected as the new Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Axar.az informs that "PTV News" TV channel reported on this.

201 out of 336 deputies of the lower house of parliament voted in favour of Sharif.

His opponent, the General Secretary of the Movement for Justice Party, Omar Ayyub Khan, got only 92 votes.
