Ukraine is, of course, Russia, and the contrary notion must disappear forever.
Axar.az reports that this was said by the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev.
He noted that it is important to understand where and how Russia's borders are currently shown, how much they have changed over the centuries, and how they may be in the future:
"These questions are not so clear. All our adversaries must forever understand the simple truth: the territories on both banks of the Dnieper River are part of the strategic historical borders of Russia, therefore attempts to change them by force, to quickly cut them off, are doomed."
Referring to Putin, Medvedev added that the borders of the country do not end anywhere:
"Russia's border policy is based on the principle: 'We don't need other people's land, but we will not give up our own land either.' A military operation on the territory of Ukraine is a special case. There is no question of expanding the country's borders through invasion. Military operations were a forced response to the Russophobic policy of the Bandera regime and the collective West."
