With the participation of the ships of the Kazakh Navy, the border service of the National Security Committee for the Mangistau region, and military aviation, the command headquarters conducted exercises in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea.

Axar.az informs that the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan reported this.

The manoeuvres held at sea are aimed at improving the coordination and practical management skills of units of the Navy and border service departments and increasing the combat readiness of personnel. "Kazakhstan", "Saryarka", "Mangistau" rocket-artillery ships of the Navy, "Alatau" minesweeper, "Sergek", "Kaysar" anti-sabotage boats, ships and boats of the Border Service and military aviation were involved in the exercises.

The total number of participants in the training was more than a thousand people.
